Ugadi Pachadi

Ugadi Pachadi is a traditional dish prepared during the festival of Ugadi, which marks the New Year in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and other South Indian states. It is a special mixture symbolizing the various emotions and facets of life through its six different tastes: sweet (jaggery for happiness), sour (tamarind for unpleasantness), tangy (raw mango for surprises), bitter (neem flowers for sadness), salty (salt for fear), and spicy (pepper for anger).
